Background in clinical work

Experience

I have experience of working as child-and young adolescent psychologist, family consultant and school psychologist in Iran. I worked also with unaccompanied asylum seeker minors in Sweden; where I had a role as instructor and mother tongue teacher in integration program in charge of municipality.

I have experience of working with acute ambulance team at DPS, Moss, and also in acute psychiatry department in DPS, Kalnes hospital.

Currently, I am working as a psychologist and group therapist in adult psychiatry department, poli-clinique, DPS at Østfold Hospital, Moss.

Education

I have a Master’s degree in clinical psychology from University in Tehran, Iran. I pursued my education in the field of cognitive psychology at Örebro University, Sweden and afterwards in clinical psychology in Norway. I have studied psychology in Iran, Sweden and Norway. I have already started with specialization studies within psychodynamic approach.

Background in research work

Experience

My experience as researcher already began when I was a Master’s degree student at the University in Tehran. I worked as a research assistant and project coordinator. Work assignments consisted of teaching and research-related tasks. My journey in research world continued in Sweden, where I was admitted to PhD program at Örebro University. I am still involved with research work and contribute to several international research projects.
